Admission And Enrollment

Tagum Doctors College, Inc. opens its doors to any student applicant who has the aspiration, qualifications and the capability for college work regardless of creed, belief, religion, gender, economic status, political learning of social strata. In the process of promoting its course offering, the school sall utiliza the media via radio and television advertisement, the use of flyers, posters, streamers and tarpaulin, school visitation within the city and its neighboring cities and municipalities as its way of information dissemination.

The student shall undergo a thorough review of her/his scholastic records of last attended educational institution, should gain a passing mark in the entrance examination conducted by the school of its authorized credited institution, pass the personal interview, must not have any gross deformity, diseases or conditions deterrent to the study and practice of chosen career. She/he must be a graduate of Dep-Ed recognized public or private Senior Highschool institution. Once approved, the student shall follow the enrollment procedure set by the Registrar as posted.

Once the applicant becomes a bona fide student of this institution, she/he is regularly evaluated on the basis of her/his academic performance and conduct as a student. And that all incoming freshmen and transferees are placed under probation upon enrollment.

Having been admitted to the school and having paid the school obligations, the student agrees to abide by the rules and policies of the school. Failure in this respect empowers the school to impose sanctions in accordance to the provisions of this handbook in reference to the Manual of Regulations of Private Schools, annotated by Ulpiano P. Sarmiento, Esq/, 1st edition 1995. Relative to this, the school agrees that after the student has successfully satisfied the prescribed course of study and in compliance with the rules and policies of the school shall confer upon him the title or degree.

The school reserves the right to refuse admission or re-admission to any student, if in its judgment, such student cannot abide with the rules and policies of the school and cannot keep up with the ideals and morality that the School stands for.

Enrollment shall be conducted during the registration days indicated on the school calendar and no enrollment is allowed two weeks after the start of classes. A student is considered officially enrolled upon submission of required documents/s authorizing student to attend classes. No foreign student shall be enrolled without prior approval and proper documents from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Bureau of Immigration and Deportation, and CHED Central Office, Manila.

All contents therein this Student Handbook shall be presented to all students during the Orientation Program at the start of the School Year.

Careful screening of documents shall be done by members of the Screening Committee before a student is given the approval to enroll. The student applicant shall submit the following requirements to the Registrar’s Office prior to admission to any program offering.

Incoming Freshmen

Requirements:

1. Form 138

2. Authenticated Birth Certificate

3. High School Diploma (photocopy)

4. Certificate of Good Moral Charactersigned by HS Principal)

5. Four (4) 2×2 recently taken colored picture

6. Entrance Examination Results

7. Must not have any physical deformity which may hinder performance of duties and responsibilities of a professional worker

Transferees

Requirements:

1. Honorable Dismissal

2. Transcript of Records(for evaluation purposes)

2.1 No failures of more than 6 units from previous school

2.2 Only subject/s with a grade of at least 80% will be credited

2.3 Discredited subject/s will be re-enrolled at TDCI

3. Authenticated Birth Certificate

4. High School Diploma (photocopy)

5. Certificate of Good Moral Charactersigned by HS Principal)

6. Four (4) 2×2 recently taken colored picture

7. Entrance Examination Results

8. Must not have any physical deformity which may hinder performance of duties and responsibilities of a professional worker

9. Informative copy of Transcript of Records(for evaluation purposes only)

10. School ID

College Graduate

Requirements:

1. Honorable Dismissal

2. Transcript of Records(for evaluation purposes)

3. Authenticated Birth Certificate

4. Copy of Diploma

5. Certificate of Good Moral Charactersigned by HS Principal)

6. Four (4) 2×2 recently taken colored picture

7. Entrance Examination Results

8. Year of graduation must not have been ten(10) years or more

9. Subjects with discrepancy in course content shall be re-enrolled.

8. Must not have any physical deformity which may hinder performance of duties and responsibilities of a professional worker

9. Level placement of applicant shall be in accordance with the curriculum

10. Shall finish the program for at least three years if applicable

Returnees

Requirements:

1. Present a tracer slip from the registrar’s office

2. Approval note from the accounting section

3. List of graduates of the previous semester if applicable

4. School ID

5. Letter requesting re-admission for approval by the AVPA

6. Transferee requirement applies to those transferees from another school after TDCI
