Surabaya, Indonesia - The Joint International Conference on Pharmaceutical Sciences marked the opening of the 5th Liyang International Conference's first-day session on November 7, 2023, at Airlangga University in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. The Tagum Doctors College, Inc (TDCI) sent a contingent led by Dr. Jesa Madelo, VP for Research and Internationalization, to represent the institution at the conference.

The TDCI team competed for 4 oral research presentations and 2 poster presentations, showcasing their institution's research capabilities in the field of pharmaceutical and technological sciences development. Dr. Madelo also delivered one of the conference's plenary topics, offering her insights to fellow participants. The conference's opening keynote speech was delivered by Prof. Manuel Dennis Molina, MBA, TDCI's president, emphasizing the event's significance in the field.

The conference's activities extended until November 8, 2023, and was attended by participants from different countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, India, and many more. The event provided participants with an opportunity to discuss their latest findings, network, and explore the latest pharmaceutical and technological developments.
