Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, India hosted the Liyang 2020’s - 2nd International Research Conference in collaboration with Tagum Doctors College, Inc. with a theme: “Unlocking Challenges, Innovations, and Global Opportunities in Covid-19 Pandemic on covering the filed of Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, Medical Science, and Engineering” last December 14-16, 2020 via zoom.

Hark back to the 1st International Multi-Disciplinary Research Conference known as the Liyang 2019 it was successfully organized by Tagum Doctors College, Inc. of Davao del Norte, Philippines. Despite today’s situation India embrace the challenge in hosting the Liyang 2020. The host encouraged the participants that this year’s Liyang is no different from the 1st Liyang conducted in the Philippines as of insights, outputs, learning and opportunities. The only different is we are not able to meet physically.

The event was consisted of highly renowned speakers abroad in medical allied programs. The event was concluded by an awarding ceremony where Hiyasmin U. Gutierrez and Rvin John T. Servillon won 2nd place in the Research Oral presentation on "Factors Influencing the Intention to Return among Lapsed Donors from Selected Barangays of Tagum City" while the Poster Presentation of John Snow L. Candelasa, Anthony M. Cuabo and Zerina Mae P. Emanil on "The Effect of Different Solvents on the Phytochemicals Present in the Cassava (Manihot esculenta) Root Peeling“ won 1st place.
